SB 553 Workplace Violence Prevention Plan — Agate Cybersecurity LLC
-
1. What this service is
Agate Cybersecurity ("Agate," "we") provides administrative compliance software that helps California employers prepare a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan and related records. Agate is a software and document-preparation tool. Agate is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship.
-
2. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for reviewing the documents the service produces, and for adopting, implementing, training on, and maintaining your plan at your workplace. You remain responsible for meeting your own obligations under California Labor Code section 6401.9 and any other law that applies to you. The service helps you prepare documents; it does not perform your compliance for you.
-
3. No guarantee of outcome
We build our content from current primary sources and have it reviewed by qualified specialists, and we keep it updated. Even so, we do not and cannot guarantee that any government agency will accept your plan or that you will pass any inspection or audit. Compliance depends on your own implementation and your specific facts.
-
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Agate's total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid Agate in the twelve months before the claim. Agate is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, fines, or penalties.
-
5. Payment and refunds
Plans are digital goods generated on demand. Because the work is produced when you submit your information, fees are non-refundable once a plan is generated. We capture your acceptance of these terms (date, time, and IP address) as a record.
-
6. Acceptable use
The service and its content are licensed to you for your own business. You may not resell, redistribute, or repackage the generated documents or our content as a competing product.
-
7. Changes
We may update these terms and our content as the law changes. The version in effect when you generate or regenerate a plan applies to that plan.
-
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
What you will see before your plan is generated
This checkbox appears immediately before your plan is produced. The button stays inactive until it is checked. Your email, plan ID, date, time, and IP address are recorded as the acceptance record before generation begins.
This is a staged preview. Checkout is not yet live. The button will activate when the checkbox is checked at purchase time.
